Mr Marshall arrange to see me at short notice. He explained the situation to me quickly and clearly and helped to get my scans sorted. I was back with him for a 2nd appointment to resolve everything in under a week. By the end of the second appointment I was very happy with the situation and the explanation and felt well looked after.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started this journey. I felt embarrassed I needed the surgery but Aruna on first meeting me was kind, caring & reassuring. Probably one of the only people of seen that understands what we as obese people go through. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help me start my new life. Truly amazing man.

My experience of Mr Crinnion having, had 2 surgeries one 4 years ago and another 16 days ago has been beyond exceptional. He is an extremely good communicator of the process , procedure and risks . In addition my experience of my 2 surgeries has also been excellent with recovery far quicker and post surgical pain well below what I was expecting. Hernia repair - Fantastic from beginning to end. Mr Thomas explained everything in detail and made me feel comfortable with the procedure I was about to undergo. The hospital "shirley oaks" were also brilliant from pre assement and to post-op. The food and accommodation were great, even my wife was impressed by being offered food and drink. But all credit does go to Mr Thomas and his team despite the Anesthetist being a Liverpool supporter.
