I was referred by email to Mr Sian from my Optician His Secretary dealt with the email promptly She immediately made contact with me by telephone to my request for an appointment with Mr Sian, She then sent a copy of the referral to my Health Insurance company who had requested it in order to give me an authorisation number for the initial appointment and then for the operation. The advice received was easy to understand The Nuffield instructions documents were clear and all staff were efficient and equipment was top quailty.

I recently had a consultation with Dr V Wagh and I am very pleased with the experience. The doctor was extremely polite and professional throughout the appointment. Mr Konstantopoulos was absolutely amazing. I was very nervous to get LASIK but he calmed my nerves on multiple occasions. I arrived and was bought to a private room where Annie the nurse came in and introduced herself. She then left us to familiarise ourselves with the eye drops and the eye drop timetable. She answered any questions I had. Before the treatment, Mr Konstantopoulos came in and further reassured me and I was given some Diazepam to calm my nerves which worked amazingly. This is something I requested a few weeks before the procedure and I would highly recommend if nervous. For the actual treatment, I was taken into a room. I loved the addition of the radio playing as a side note. I laid down and the bedside manner was next to none. One lady (I am so sorry I have forgotten her name), held my hand most of the time and put a blanket over me as it was quite cold in the room. The actual procedure did not take long at all and was not scary in the slightest. I have had no issues post-op and have been confirmed as having 20/20 vision 48 hours after procedure. Also, Laura is someone who I maintained contact with from consultation to procedure day. She was also amazing at answering any further questions I had. Overall, an amazing experience and I cannot fault it.

I couldn’t have asked for a better Surgeon. Putting Alex’s actual professional skillset aside (which is class), what makes him a cut above the rest is his ability to relate to, empathise with and reassure his patients. I felt at ease and comfortable throughout the whole process - even during the operation which naturally you would think would a time when anxiety would spike, It didn’t because Alex talked me through everything as he was working which was so reassuring.
