Dr Philipose is both knowledgeable and also very friendly and able to explain complicated concepts into normal language, from appointment one you know you are in safe and capable hands!

I attended a post procedure consultation with Dr Shah. The results she gave me did not match her follow up letter to my GP (copied to myself). This resulted in confusion for both my GP & myself. The dose of Mesalazine I have been taking which was prescribed by Dr Shah, was doubled in her letter!!! She said in her letter that I find it difficult to remember the correct dose to take. I simply told her that it was sometimes hard to remember the middle of the day dose. Both morning and evening are no problem. There were other comments written that did not match what I was told. I emailed her and the reply was I would hear after 20 May (maybe she is away but this was not explained) thus I still await her response. I have attended Benenden several times over the many years of membership and have found the consultants and treatment to be excellent. My experience this time was sadly disappointing and misleading.

Dr Al-Joudeh was consulted on my behalf regarding some stomach issues I have been having for around 5/6 years. After a consultation and test, he has been able to give me the answers I’ve looked for years for. He takes everything you say into consideration and is very assuring as to finding the problem. I would recommend him to anyone.
