After being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, I struggled to understand what was causing me to have a bloated stomach, diarrhea and lack of energy. The doctor took a long time talking about things that had nothing to do with the patient, such as talking about other patients she'd had and what they were suffering from. I was very frustrated because she talked about so many irrelevant things.
