I turned to Weightmatters for psychological therapy with the hope of "rewiring" my thinking, especially around how I used food to cope with emotional pain. At the time, I was uncertain and even skeptical about whether real change was possible. But looking back now, I hardly recognize the version of myself who first walked through those doors. James is very knowledgeable about eating disorders and has helped me understand my condition, the triggers as well as supporting me to work on strategies to stay on track with my recovery. He is a calming and encouraging presence in group. I am extremely grateful for the support I have received. My recovery has improved hugely under his guidance.
