Excellent overall. I'm always worried about going to the dentist that it will hurt, but I felt absolutely nothing while they did my filling. I will be less worried next time.

9 am call to Gemma and a 4 pm appointment with Peter . Reviewed the X ray on the big screen . Decided together that extraction was best treatment 20 minutes later (10 mins was for numbness to set in) tooth was out . Aftercare information given and the next day Gemma called to ask how I was doing and any issues call them back. 11/10 for the team

Calm and Gentle

Pieter and his dental nurses having been professional from start to finish with my treatments. Always giving me information each treatment and making sure I understood before leaving the practice. Pieter was recommended to me by my dentist a few years ago and I’ve travelled to receive this experience with him. I would highly recommend Pieter for a tooth implant as I’ve been very satisfied with the outcome.

A fantastically professional service from start to finish. Really great receptionist who is extremely helpful and she sets the standard from then on.

Incredibly professional and clean practice. I had a tooth extracted and several fillings absolutely painless and gently done. I highly recommend this practice. Friendly and supportive from the moment you walk through the door to the treatment.

My appointment was 2pm but as there was a parking problem nearby I sent out early and arrived for the appointment 10 minutes early at 1.50pm, expecting to spend a bit of time in the cosy waiting room. Unfortunately, on arrival, the main door was locked. There was no notice on the outside to say it didn't re-open until 2 (the actual time of my appointment) so I continued to ring the bell. Eventually Shalin answered it and let me inside to wait in the waiting room. At just gone 2pm the receptionist arrived (not Gemma though) and commented straightaway "I thought the door was locked"! I think this very bad practice. If my appointment was set at 2pm I should have been able to access the waiting room beforehand rather than be left waiting outside in the cold. I then waited a further 10 minutes to be called. Either my appointment should have been set at 2.10 or the waiting room should have been open. Estie and her assistant were very friendly but did not apologise for the late start. I also found Estie a bit heavy-handed as a hygienist but her results are good and my teeth looked very clean.

Always very accommodating and friendly

Over the last 12 months the team at calm and gentle have been excellent, from the initial emergency appointment through to routine check ups and lately an extraction and start of dental implant treatment. At every step they explain the procedures and take extra care to ensure a pain free treatment.
