The integrated care are Life Works is outstanding, I am extremely grateful for the level of care and support over my time om the ED and ATP programmes. The multi disciplinary team and all the staff are superbly talented, and their attention to detail is si much appreciated.

Lifeworks has changed my brain in ways I never thought possible for me. After living with my problems for all of my life, I’ve been through many treatments and either not been able to continue them or come out worse and I can truly say this place was a game changer. Not everything is perfect and i’m by no means cured but I am leaving feeling hope and with the motivation to continue practicing what i’ve put in place here. Chef Will has made me learn to enjoy food for the first time in my life and the support workers while I’ve been here have all had life experience, making the journey a little easier. Truly recommend this place. Thank you.

My inpatient experience at Lifeworks The Priory was simply the worst any individual could receive from a private medical facility. First of all, I was pressured to write a review on the day of discharge by a member of stuff who stood behind me to make sure that I finished the review. Due to the pressure I wasn’t able to write a truthful review. I would like to start my review with the misleading information declared on Lifeworks brochure about the free assessment which I was charged 450GBP for, the description of the inpatient facility was far from reality. The room was supposed to be equipped with a TV and other amenities, however, for the £25,000 I paid I was housed in a room without a TV or amenities, 2 single beds, and the room constantly smelt of sewers. The brochure also stated that the programme includes 2 weekly 1-1 therapy sessions, and a free massage. But I was only provided with 1 therapy session per week, and no massage. Due to my vulnerability and need for help, I stayed quiet and I didn’t raise any complaints regarding the above. Thirdly, during the last week of my stay. I was the only client in my program, therefore I was pressured to attend other program session which was not applicable to my needs. Fourthly and most importantly, the day of my discharge an aftercare plane was discussed with the admissions manager who advised that the therapy team is responsible for arranging the day-care plane. Good service lots of support

Nepal beds need changing

Fabulous therapy sessions whether 1:1 or group therapy. It was hugely beneficial having ED and ATP groups combined for some group sessions as we learn so much from the sharing of experiences. It is not a walk in the park and it does get tough at times but I will take with me the contact details of people who really understand and a wealth of tools to help my recovery.
