This was a great experience and I am grateful that the NHS would not operate on my cataracts so I ended up choosing Matrix. As a private patient I was able to have lenses with two levels of vision, distance and middle distance. I woke the first morning (still with protective plastic shield), and found everything was extraordinarily bright and clear. The whole experience, over two operations, was excellent. The surgeon, Mr Guy Smith, took great care, explaining what he would do, ahead of time, and again during the operation. I recommend Matrix highly.

Everything was perfect

I was offered a next day appointment on my initial telephone call which was extended by one week for the consultant to obtain existing X rays. On my attendance I was seen for examination without delay and was advised that MRI scans were required to complete the examination. These were completed locally (I live in South Wales and the consulted was in the Swindon area) and forwarded to the consultant, following which I had a telephone consultation with the consultant and a letter confirming the diagnosis. I had a number of telephone calls with the Secretary on a friendly and informal basis and I was satisfied with the whole procedure.

My visits were always prompt, I was made to feel welcome. Each consultation was informative and valuable.
