About Sanctuary Lodge
Recovering from substance addiction can be a daunting process, especially amid the chaos of our fast-paced world. Situated in Halstead, Essex, our facility takes into account these pressures and is surrounded by nature to provide that added tranquillity during your stay.

Our facility
Our centre has a variety of facilities to ensure your comfort, including:
- Nineteen en-suite bedrooms.
- Five beautifully refurbished shared rooms
- Scenic gardens to reconnect with nature
- An in house gym
- Qualified chefs preparing fresh ingredients and nutritionally balanced meals
What we treat
Our centre treats all addictions, ranging from drug and alcohol rehabilitation to behavioural addictions such as:

Everybody is unique, and while one person might respond to a particular course of treatment, this may not be the case for another. We incorporate a range of different treatments, allowing each client to explore the methods that work for them, integrating mind, body, and spirit into your treatment programme. No complaints. It’s rehab not a holiday but I had a great time making new friends supported by excellent staff and therapists. The food is outstanding. But more important than all of this I now feel very confident about my recovery. Thank you Sanctuary Lodge.

Very good overall experience although some disorganisation involving session times and administrative issues

A pleasure I felt at home straight away the therapy team helped me a lot same with all the other staff members can’t fault it one bit what I have learnt in the space of 28 from my addiction to my self attitude I’ll be leaving here with a new start and a fresh mind thank you Sanctuary Lodge

All the support staff are brilliant, the food is amazing, the therapists are all great. All in all it was a good experience and I have no complaints.

From the get go all support staff and therapists housekeeping and catering have been and consistently stayed supportive proactive and engaging. My only qualms are with the doctor and nurse who see fit to interfere with prescribed balanced medication doses subsequently making my mental health unstable
