Southfields Dental Centre ‘The Blue House' is a private dental clinic established in the 1960's which is based in Wandsworth, London, next to Southfields tube station. The practice offers general, cosmetic, preventative and restorative dentistry at affordable prices. The treatments offered include crowns, veneers, bridges, smile makeover, metal-free fillings, dental implants, wrinkle reduction, teeth whitening and Invisalign clear braces,
The principal dentist of the practice has been Dr Niharika Gulati since 2004. All the staff at the practice are highly qualified, providing an excellent, quality service. The philosophy of the practice is ‘Prevention is better than cure and we aim to maintain oral health for life'. The staff aim to help patients feel relaxed and comfortable, hence nervous patients are welcomed to the practice to meet the staff in a friendly introduction.

I had to wait a long time to get an appointment, as the treatment was expected to take over an hour. When I had the treatment, it took a maximum 30 minutes (I had mentally prepared myself for a long appointment). It was a shame as if there had been a better connection between the predicted time and the actual time, I wouldn't have had to wait so long for my appointment. I have reservations that the cost of the treatment does not match what was carried out, but this has never been my experience at this Dental Centre, which I have always found to be very reasonably priced. I think on this occasion it is probably me not understanding exactly how much composite is needed! Overall, I have come to this surgery for many years and always found the service very personal, friendly, easy going, although sometimes you do have to ask why something needs to happen if you want answers (maybe some people aren't as curious as me?)

I have always found the SDC to be efficient and very clean. The hygienist I see is excellent and has made a real difference to my gum health. The dentists explain potential treatments carefully and I do not feel unduly pressurised to sign up to anything. I would highly recommend the practice.
