Tzar Labs is a medical laboratory aiming to redefine diagnostics by detecting cancer precisely and accurately through a non-invasive blood test. To date, our scientists have developed the following unique blood-based technologies:
1. HrC Genomics - a simple blood-based approach to indicating the absence or risk of cancer presence.
2. Onco B3 - a comprehensive genetic analysis of all organs impacted by cancer.
3. All Organ Biopsy - RNA transcriptomics analysis of the signalling pathways in relation to cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular & neurodegenerative disease, from a blood sample.
HrC Genomics
Using a proprietary blood processing protocol developed by our team of scientists, we can isolate and enrich a special class of pluripotent stem cells, including cancer stems cells, from blood. The enriched cells are then processed using Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology as to identify highly specific markers (including RNA, protein and molecular markers) which are known to be key hallmarks of cancer initiation.
These markers show up in blood as early as 12-18 months prior to symptoms or tumour development, which means HrC Genomics detects the risk of cancer presence earlier than any other known technology.
From the data generated from the NGS processing we can provide an accurate indication of risk of cancer presence ranging from no-risk, negligible-risk, low-risk, moderate-risk through to high-risk.
Our scientists also believe that they have discovered the commonality that exists between all types and sub-types of cancer, in that they all initiate in the same way, which means that HrC Genomics is potentially the world’s first pan-cancer blood test.
Onco B3
Onco B3 provides a Full Cancer Health Check of all the organs impacted by cancer. This is possible due to the discovery by our scientists of pluripotent progenitor stem cells circulating in peripheral blood. This type of stem cell contains the signature of the organ from where it originated meaning that once the transcriptome analysis of the cell has been performed, the following detailed information relating to the tumour(s) can be obtained:
• Type/Sub-Type of Cancer
• Primary/Secondary Organ
• Next Organ to be Impacted
• Genetic Mutations
• Altered Expressions
• Dysregulated Pathways
Onco B3 is a simple blood test that provides all the information required to guide treatment, for all organs impacted by cancer, without the need of a tissue biopsy.
Being a simple blood test, Onco B3 can be performed as often as required to help monitor responsiveness to treatment as well as being able to conclusively confirm remission for cancer survivors.
All Organ Biopsy
All Organ Biopsy is a full body health check of all the organs in the body with relation to cancer, diabetes, neurodegenerative and cadiovascular disease. Through recording this information on an annual or bi-annual basis can provide an overview of an individual's health status with a view to preventing illness through intervention.
