My experience for my first eye was very good. He explained everything throughout the procedure and I felt okay. My second eye procedure done by Ms Batt wasn't a pleasant experience and I felt uncomfortable and in discomfort.

Mr Al-Hity was friendly. He really put me at ease. I couldn't feel a thing. We had conversation throughout the op.. He really seemed interested. I recommend him highly. The second consultant is not listed in your list but was called Ms Butt. She was cold very unfriendly and like a robot. She kept telling me off because I was nervous. I should have had a sedative but after the first good experience I thought it would be ok. It was not. I could feel and see what she was doing. It was awful. I was eventually allowed to.talk but it was not a conversation. I suppose the nurses were too scared to talk because the surgeon had said she "was not comfortable" with talk. Talking distracts me and would have made me less nervous and more able to be still. Ms Butt did not know how to smile. This experience stays with me and I have recommended my friends to go for a general anesthetic if they are scared. I would not wish Ms Butt on anyone.
