About Dr Dev Shah
Dr Dev Shah is Consultant Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon. This means that he can offer expert advice and treatment for general dermatology:
mole reviews, acne, eczema, psoriasis, lipoma and cyst removal.
He has done further training in skin cancer and Mohs surgery, and is a leading specialist in Mohs surgery for basal cell carcinoma.

Dr Shah graduated from The University of Leicester in 2002 with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees, attained a Membership of the Royal College of
Physicians in 2005. He is a member of the British Association of Dermatological
Surgeons, British Association of Dermatology and General Medical Council.
Dr Shah enjoys research; he has an interest in how immune cells affect patients with eczema. He has worked with the Cardiff Microneedle team with the aim of finding a role for microneedles in treating skin conditions.
He regularly teaches consultants, junior doctors, and nurses. He has received the Trust Level 2 award for going beyond the care and duties expected of a consultant. He is a regular spokesperson for the British Association of Dermatologists and British Skin Foundation and is featured on a television programme - Skin A&E on Channel 5.

He is very attentive, well mannered and professional. He responds to all questions patiently. I have been happy with his treatments and care provided. He is kind and friendly. The only issue that one might have is inability to talk to his secretary on the phone. It always is a messaging service when one calls asking to send an email with any enquiries . I found that somehow unusual, and at times frustrating. However, she emails back quickly.
We are trying to get a better phone service between the admin teams. Thank you for your feedback and we take this very seriously.

This was my second meeting with Dr Shah. As with the first meeting. I was greeted warmly, and made to feel instantly very at ease. Dr Shah took time explaining the procedure I was having, and was very attentive, before, during, and after. Constantly reassuring, checking I was comfortable with what was happening. The nurses who were in the room with Dr Shah, we’re equally as kind, caring and attentive.
