I don’t feel I have the right words to covey my thanks to Mr Foroughi. After more than 15 months of cancelled operations at Brighton hospital and being signed off work month after month, I was lucky to be able to see Mr Foroughi privately, my operation for Chirai malformation was booked within weeks under his care. The support and guidance I received running up to the op, during and after was just exceptional. I cannot stress enough the exceptional level of care I received from him and his team. The after care has been exemplary. The operation itself was performed to the letter and MRIs show the perfection of his surgical skill. Mr Foroughi will forever be thought of by myself and my family as a surgeon of incredible kindness, empathy, skill and professionalism and we will forever be so very thankful to him. I’m back at work and he has given me that gift (and also the ability to belly laugh without incredible pain, because what is life without laughter) Thank you so very much, a true gentlemen and incredible surgeon.

From the first appointment Mr Foroughi was very caring and put me at ease, was very reassuring as I had to have surgery to remove a meningioma from my ride side of the brain. Was very explanatory of all the procedure and post operative, so I knew what to expect (or as much as you can with brain surgery) also cannot fault his team as well!!! Overall cannot fault any of my experience.

Where to start? Mr Foroughi has completely changed my life for the better and I will be forever grateful for his help. I was referred to him following my diagnosis of Trigeminal Neuralgia last year and I can honestly say that there isn't one single step of the entire experience with him that I would have wanted done differently, if I were to do it all again. After being incredibly supportive and helpful in going through treatment options with me and reviewing (numerous times) the risks and benefits of all options, I ended up undergoing MVD (microvascular decompression) surgery with him 2 months ago and I haven't had any Trigeminal Neuralgia symptoms/pain since. He has changed my life. I am an active 40 year old mother of 2 young girls so I was keen to undergo surgery to deal with the structure compressing the nerve rather than just relying on the Carbamazepine medication I had been prescribed. I wanted a long term solution. Mr Foroughi's bedside manner AND talent as a surgeon are both second to none. I believe it's rare to find a surgeon who is as caring and present as he is. I am so grateful that he came into my life. He has changed it for the better. I can't recommend him enough and can't speak highly enough about him.

Mr Mansoor Foroughi is superb on every level. Having seen Mr Foroughi in 2016 and a successful back operation later, I can’t recommend him enough. As well as being a fantastic surgeon, his level of care throughout the whole process was exceptional. Roll on to 2024 when I suffered sciatica and foot drop in May 2024, Mr Foroughi was without doubt my first port of call. Whilst he could not personally operate as it was an emergency, Mr Foroughi’s involvement and care ensured that I was seen and operated on within 24 hours via the NHS. I subsequently returned to Mr Foroughi after my operation and his follow up care was again, exceptional – great communication, and always so friendly, warm and welcoming. No exaggeration, Mr Foroughi has changed my life for the better not once but twice now and I shall be forever grateful to him.
3.5
Clearly highly experienced. Perhaps could focus more on positive outcomes to balance some of the negatives a bit more.

Throughout the whole consultation process, through to operation on my lower back and post surgery aftercare the level of professionalism and support from Mr Foroughi, his immediate medical team and all hospital staff at the Nuffield was exemplary.

I am so happy that our paths crossed with Mr. Foroughi at the time when I was diagnosed with a condition. He has been the calming force that I needed, he answered all my questions, explained everything in detail, always checked on me to make sure everything was going to plan. I would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone who is looking for a neurosurgeon, he is experienced, knowledgable and very approachable in times of need.

I am grateful beyond measure that I found Mansoor Foroughi. A breath of fresh air in the medical profession, not only was he of the highest level of professionalism and knowledge he also made me feel cared for and that my health and well being genuinely mattered. He was able to correctly diagnose my rare condition, which had been missed by countless other professionals over the many, many years, decades of extreme suffering. I cannot recommend him enough.
