I am very pleased with my experience with Mr. Niall Patton. On my first visit, after examining my eye, he clearly explained to me his observations and the procedure that would be required. I understood everything clearly. On the day of my surgery, he saw me before and after the surgery and explained what would be done and what was done respectively. In the operating theatre, he was very professional. I felt very comfortable. He spoke gentle to me and to his team. Dr. Patton is the consummate medical professional, and I shall highly recommend him to anyone who needs vitreoretinal care. Keep up the good work, Dr. Patton.

I sought out the expertise of a highly qualified, very skillful and confident surgeon for a pars plana vitrectomy for floaters. Prior to arranging a consultation with mr Patton, I had done a lot of research about my eye condition, but had met with huge resisitance from my local optician and hospital about having a vitrectomy to correct the problem- they didn't think that floaters was a good enough reason to operate! As a musician, the floaters have had a very debilitating effect on my ability to read music quick enough, or at all at certain times of day; my self-employed music teaching business has suffered, as I felt I could not recruit new students. It was with great relief that I discovered Mr Patton, who completely empathises with the problems created by floaters, especially to people like myself who require( and have always had) fine vision for detailed work, like reading music. He examined my eyes extremely thoroughly and was able to give me a totally comprehensive overview of the health of my eyes, the vitrectomy procedure and outcome; he also outlined all the risks carefully. He answered all the queries I had. He is very courteous, friendly and struck me as being totally knowledgable and confident in is field- at the top. Finally, I felt that I had found a surgeon who I completely trusted to operate on my eyes. On operation day I felt I was in the best hands possible and to date, so far (one week later now) so good! Already I am ecstatic about my new vision with this eye and I can see music clearly again! I am so very very grateful to Mr Patton.
