Mr Peter Domos is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with double-fellowship training. He has sub-specialty interests in shoulder and elbow surgery.

He first qualified from the University of Pecs Medical School in Pecs, Hungary and completed further postgraduate specialist training in orthopedics and trauma in the East of England Cambridge rotation. He undertook the prestigious Calvert Shoulder fellowship based in London and continued to undertake two years of internationally and nationally acclaimed subspecialist training in Lyon and Toulouse, France and again in Sheffield, United Kingdom.
He has also spent a considerable amount of time meeting, visiting and engaging with a number of world-renowned, leading shoulder and elbow specialists in Europe over a 3 month period in order to experience other healthcare systems at managerial and clinical levels. Mr. Domos is keen to encourage new international and existing partnerships that allow the sharing of expertise and the strengthening of evidence-based medicine by patient-based research.

Mr. Domos is the winner of a number of accolades, including the BESS Travelling Fellowship 2014, the Paul Calvert Research Paper Prize, the ISAKOS Upper Limb Travelling Fellowship 2016 and several other international (ESSKA) and national (Royal College of Surgeons, BOA) awards.

He is keen on involving himself in research, with over 30 publications and he continues to attend various scientific meetings annually such as BESS, SECEC, ICSES, EFORT, SICOT, BOA.

Mr. Domos holds the position of Clinical Lead for the Virtual Fracture Clinic and the Shoulder and Elbow Unit at Barnet Hospital, Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.

He also works with Total Orthopaedics, which exists to provide a multi-specialty service with the benefits of collaborative and innovative working.

He loves spending time with his young family. He also enjoys travelling and he is passionate about motorsports, especially car racing and Formula 1.
