At my initial consultation, Professor Lloyd was very patient, taking time to listen to my history and after examining my ears, he diagnosed my condition quickly and set out a plan for me which included surgery. I was a little apprehensive about having surgery, however Professor Lloyd was sensitive to this and he was always happy to answer my questions and concerns. His exceptional, clear advice regarding the benefits and potential (minimal) risks of having the surgery helped me to make an informed decision and gave me the confidence I needed to go ahead. I had my operation almost 6 weeks ago at the Wilmslow Hospital and care I received was outstanding. The aftercare has also been excellent. My ear is recovering very well which has already had such a positive impact on my wellbeing. I feel very safe under Professor Lloyd’s care and his calm, reassuring manner will definitely help me to prepare for the surgery he may need to perform on my other ear in the future.
