Miss Qistina Pilson is a highly accomplished Consultant Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic Surgeon at Stockport Foundation Trust, specialising in oculoplastic surgery, medical retina, and general ophthalmology. After graduating from University College Dublin, Miss Pilson completed formal ophthalmic training across Ireland, followed by two prestigious fellowships at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, one of Europe’s leading teaching eye hospitals. Her fellowships focused on oculoplastic and orbital surgery, as well as medical retina, equipping her with advanced skills to manage complex eyelid disorders, periocular tumours, thyroid eye disease, cataracts, and retinal conditions such as macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
Her specialist interests also include aesthetic periocular treatments, addressing conditions such as eyelid hooding, droopy brows, and watery or dry eyes. An amazing surgeon in her field of medicine, Ms Pilson preformed surgery on me because other doctors had tried and failed. Ms Pilson is brilliant cannot praise her enough the whole procedure from start to finish, from explaining everything and the surgery was not stressful for me as it had been the first time with other doctors. I felt very much in safe hands with Ms Pilson and as I can compare the surgery to the other doctors who tried and failed before then all I can add is if you need eye surgery this wonderful lady is the one to see. Remarkable surgeon.

From my first appointment with Miss Pilson I was put at ease . She allowed me to explain what was going on with my eye sight . I never felt rushed in her appointments . Miss Pilson is a Credit to the NHS . I felt she treats her patients as humans and no just that patient During my surgery, Miss Pilson and her team did everything to make me feel at ease of which I was due to the team and Miss Pilson . She took time to explain everything and time to care about her amazing work

Ms Pilson has been brilliant throughout and her patience and kind explanation of how my BCC would be treated and the skin repaired by her as an opthalmic plastic surgeon has been central to me feeling confident.Her advice on aftercare and her dedication to excellence has meant that l have never felt frightened during my treatment.l would highly recommend her to others due to empathic nature and very diligent attitude getting the best result possible for her patient.

I have seen a number of consultants over the past 6 years and of everyone I have seen , Ms Pilson has shown the most interest in my condition and approaches it in a practical manner which is both refreshing and extremely helpful. Not only does she provide a detailed update on my condition, but she is the only person I have seen who has given me practical tools & advice on how to best manage my condition. The experiences I have had over the years with other health professionals have not all been positive but Ms Pilson is outstanding in the care that she provides.
