About Dr. Rakesh Anand
Dr Rakesh Anand is a Consultant Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital as well as an Honorary Consultant at Moorfields Eye Hospital. He practises privately at the Lister Hospital Chelsea Outpatient Centre where he specialises in skin cancer and skin surgery.
Dr Anand has expertise in all aspects of general and cosmetic dermatology. He attended University College London Medical School before completing specialty training at renowned hospitals in London, including the Royal London and the Royal Free. He then went on to undertake a prestigious fellowship in Mohs micrographic and laser surgery at the St John's Institute of Dermatology.
Dr Anand has been recognised by both colleagues and patients for his attention to detail in providing the best patient care possible. He is also known for his sensitive and approachable manner. He is dedicated to helping his patients achieve optimal skin health, and he takes a holistic approach to care informed by his training in psychology and behavioural neuroscience.
He is a member of the British Association of Dermatology, the British Society for Dermatological Surgery, and the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group. Additionally, he remains active in dermatological research and has received numerous awards for his work.

I cannot recommend Dr Anand highly enough. I was in a very worried state when I came to see him about a basal cell carcinoma on my face. I greatly appreciated both the time he took to listen to my concerns and to calmly explain the lesion and the (Mohs) surgical procedure to remove it. Thanks to Dr Anand and his excellent team at One Wellbeck, the procedure itself was straightforward and surprisingly painless. It is healing really well and the scar is subtle. I could not be more grateful for the expert care I received from Dr Anand.

I cannot recommend Dr Anand highly enough. He is a highly skilled surgeon who has carried out a facial procedure for me which is virtually invisible. Dr Anand has a charming manner with patients: he is welcoming and friendly and develops an instant rapport, setting the patient at ease and carefully listening to the patient's concerns. His expanation of options is clear and concise, and his post-treatment/consultation follow up letters are very helpful with clear guidance. I would not hesitate to recomment this consultant to friends and family alike.
