The approach to patient care has to be specifically tailored to each individual, whether a child or adult, and involve them along this journey and decision making process. After my squint surgery I felt better when I looked people in the eyes. As a teenager I felt very self-conscious, now I can do my sports and learn as normal. The surgery was a smooth experience and very easy. No pains and improved immediately!
