I don’t feel I have the right words to covey my thanks to Mr Foroughi. After more than 15 months of cancelled operations at Brighton hospital and being signed off work month after month, I was lucky to be able to see Mr Foroughi privately, my operation for Chirai malformation was booked within weeks under his care. The support and guidance I received running up to the op, during and after was just exceptional. I cannot stress enough the exceptional level of care I received from him and his team. The after care has been exemplary. The operation itself was performed to the letter and MRIs show the perfection of his surgical skill. Mr Foroughi will forever be thought of by myself and my family as a surgeon of incredible kindness, empathy, skill and professionalism and we will forever be so very thankful to him. I’m back at work and he has given me that gift (and also the ability to belly laugh without incredible pain, because what is life without laughter) Thank you so very much, a true gentlemen and incredible surgeon.

Mr Hardwidge was the most professional caring wonderful Doctor I have ever met. I was suffering with excruciating pain which I had experienced for some months. Further to an MRI Mr Hardwidge explained in enormous detail his best advice for surgery. He took me through all the risks involved as it was very delicate. He had to create an incision on my neck which 6 weeks on is healing beautifully. My pain instantly was relieved by this operation. Pain relief did not touch it and my life had dimished substantially. Mr Hardwidge took a lot of time to explain exactly what he would do and gave me huge confidence. He saw me at every point before during and after the operation. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Mr Hardwidge to anyone requiring neurosurgery. He is an absolute magician and a wonderful human being. He never once blinded me with science and was very committed to giving me his very best.

He has a good bedside manner and was very understanding of my phobia which made discussing my procedure difficult for him.
