Dr Maria Nyekiova was very kind, considerate and attentive. I felt that she thoroughly understood my needs; and that she is a very experienced doctor. She gave very good explanations of everything that was required for my problems and I am very pleased that I booked in to see her.

I was made to feel very welcome and comfortable. I was a few minutes late for my first appointment so it was a little hurried but I didn't see the surgeon again, despite being advised he met customers after to operation and at the nest visit to remove stitches. My post-op advice was a little sketchy. I still have a further visit at one month after the op so hope to get some first-hand comments then. The anesthetist was expecially friendly and encouraging, as was Jules, who went out of her way to talk to me on my return for stitches removal.

After being told, out of the blue, I had a fast growing cataract, the options were getting on the NHS waiting list or having treatment under U Clinic. My appointments were very quick and the receptionists were helpful in answering my questions.

This was my first ever private health consultation ever and it was excellent. When I was anxiously sitting in gridlock traffic that was going to make me very late - I telephoned the clinic and receptionist, Dana, was completely non-judgemental, reminded me that it was out of my control and gave solution focused responses that were so reassuring [eg letting other patients be seen earlier if they arrived before me] and made me feel at ease. Once I arrived, she was warm and empathic, explained how appointment times had been juggled and offered me a coffee whilst I waited for my revised time. Dr Sarah Ameen was lovely too, I felt completely 'heard' and 'understood' . The consultation felt unhurried and I left feeling very cared for. When I called out of hours to make an appointment in the first place, another member of the team [a gentleman] picked up and made a note so that Dr Sarah knew that I would like to make an appointment and it was followed up immediately when clinic opened the next morning by Sana. He was available to assist me when I arrived with regards where to park and to cap it all, when I was waiting for my appointment [I was just reading]he noticed I had me hand on my head and double checked if I was all ok. I cannot praise the team enough - Huge thanks to you all!

Staff at reception were very friendly and it only took a few minutes from arrival to being seen by the Dr.

I have not been to Fordcombe before but I have been very pleasantly surprised!

Reasonably priced hayfever injection. Good service.
