I was made to feel very welcome and comfortable. I was a few minutes late for my first appointment so it was a little hurried but I didn't see the surgeon again, despite being advised he met customers after to operation and at the nest visit to remove stitches. My post-op advice was a little sketchy. I still have a further visit at one month after the op so hope to get some first-hand comments then. The anesthetist was expecially friendly and encouraging, as was Jules, who went out of her way to talk to me on my return for stitches removal.

My rating for friendliness is only that in some ways this aspect was overdone!

I had a wonderful experience at the McIndoe Centre, from my first consultation right through to my procedure and my aftercare. Every staff member I encountered was caring and friendly, this included the nursing staff, the catering staff, my surgical team and anesthetic team. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Martin Jones who made me feel so confident in his abilities and the surgery. Dr. Niamh Gavin was a burst of energy and I have never felt so reassured before surgery. She really made me feel ease and even managed to have a laugh before heading into the Theatre.

There was a slight wait due to an unexpected emergency but I had a lovely room to wait in so not a problem
