About Goring Hall Hospital (part of Circle Health Group)
Goring Hall Hospital opened in 1994 and is part of Circle Health Group, the UKs largest independent healthcare provider. Located on the sunshine coast of Worthing, the hospital serves West Sussex and further afield offering a wide range of services from Dermatology to Orthopaedics.
Our Orthopaedic Centre of Excellence benefits from a large team of consultant experts who cover joint replacement for hips, knees, shoulders and ankles.
Eye Care Goring, our dedicated ophthalmic suite, offers expert diagnostics and premium lenses for Cataract Surgery.
Over 120 consultants practice privately from the hospital and are supported by caring and professional medical staff including 24-hour Resident Medical Officers. Consultants undertake a wide range of procedures from routine investigations to complex surgery within a friendly, safe and comfortable environment.
We are a Green site so we do not take Covid positive patients and have strict measures in place to ensure the safety of our patients, staff and consultants.
Appointments for most specialities are available within 48 hours and are arranged at a time to suit you, whether that be during the day or in the evening. We see patients on both an insured and self-pay basis, those with private medical insurance should check their policy details with their provider prior to attending any appointments.
We accept referrals from GPs, Optometrists, Physiotherapists and other Consultants. You can also self-refer for the majority of our services.
From the moment you contact the hospital our staff are here to help and you will be greeted with a friendly smile. We provide information and reassurance about your diagnosis and treatment and whether you are attending as an outpatient or being admitted for surgery, our staff and processes are designed to put you at ease.

I received the most exemplary care at Goring Hall for my recent myomectomy. Every single member of staff I came into contact with (clinical, housekeeping and meal services) was so kind and made me feel at ease. I would like to call out in particular: Juliette, who took my bloods both at pre-assessment and on the ward. I am a nightmare to get blood from and she is a miracle worker, truly expert at her job and a lovely person as well. Nathan, who looked after me overnight on the ward. Georgia, who was my nurse for two days, providing consistency, support, comfort and practical advice. Both Nathan and Georgia explained in detail what they were doing for me, which helped my anxiety. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they provided expert and kind care. HCAs Henry and Donald were lovely, kind and patient. Both Nathan and Donald’s sense of humour and confidence really put me at ease (although giggling post surgery was unexpected and somewhat painful, but I am not complaining!). Trix the Physio is fantastic and her advice was so helpful in alleviating my pain. All in all, what could have been a scary and unsettling experience was made joyful by the team at Goring Hall. I cannot thank everyone enough

I have had the pleasure of being seen by various consultants at this hospital. The staff are excellent. I have also had all my operations by Mr Pakarian at Goring Hall, the staff are exceptional, as well as all the staff behind the scenes.

I found the post op check a week after surgery let the rating down having to wait over an hour because three patients were all booked in at the same appointment time.
