As well as being a knowledgeable doctor, Dr Day is unusually sensitive in her approach without being patronising. She was also very patient and didn't make me feel rushed at all during our long consultation

I came to see Dr Day with my 6 year old daughter who I was concerned about. The consultation that we had was honestly what I have needed to have done sooner rather than later but I was slightly worried of the outcome as a parent . I felt relieved to have my concerns validated by a clinician but also to have someone understand your concerns and recognise key traits that I sometimes felt only I can see. It was something I have not experienced in an appointment before and feel so so grateful. Ellie was absolutely brilliant with me and took her time to listen to everything I had to relay and was even more amazing with my daughter. My daughter does find it hard sometimes to interact with people she does not know but the way she spoke to my child and was able to make her feel heard, understand and was so positive was so lovely. Ellie was very informative and gave me a some recommendations which I will implement to ensure my child can tackle some of the issues she is facing. Highly recommend! I had the peace of mind that I needed and reassurance that everything will be ok with the work that I need to do to support my daughter and the recommendations she had given me. Thank you Ellie!
